Performance & Achievements

Represented a listed company in the film and television industry in a third-party revocation action against a judgment of the Beijing High People's Court. The dispute, arising from a creditor’s revocation right, involved an equity transfer valued at over USD 30 million. We secured a substantial win for the client in the first instance before the Beijing High People's Court; the case is currently pending in the second instance before the Supreme People's Court.

Represented a premier private equity institution in an equity transfer dispute against the founder of a "new consumption" enterprise. The case involved arbitration at the Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC) and asset preservation proceedings at the Shanghai No. 1 Intermediate People's Court. We managed the entire process, ultimately securing a settlement from a position of dominant advantage.

Represented an investment platform managed by a real estate fund with AUM exceeding RMB 100 billion in a dispute involving commercial property valued at over RMB 100 million. We sought the eviction of a state-owned financial institution and the payment of occupation fees. The court of first instance supported the client’s primary claims; during the second instance, we leveraged our dominant legal position to reach a settlement that successfully achieved the client’s commercial objectives.

Represented a NASDAQ-listed retail company in defending against a tort liability lawsuit filed by a consumer. By raising rigorous procedural and substantive objections during the pre-trial phase, we successfully persuaded the court and reached an effective communication with the opposing party, resulting in the voluntary withdrawal of the case and the successful mitigation of reputational risks.

Represented a leading domestic industrial M&A institution in an equity buy-back arbitration at the BAC against a prominent AI and big-data enterprise and its founder. With the amount in controversy reaching approximately RMB 300 million, the tribunal upheld all our legal positions and claims, resulting in a comprehensive victory for the client.

Represented a leading domestic power bank rental enterprise in a high-stakes patent ownership dispute. As the patent in question served as the cornerstone of the client’s business and financing, its ownership was critical to operational stability. Following proceedings before the Supreme People's Court in the second instance, we secured a total victory, effectively safeguarding the client’s core commercial interests.

Represented a senior professional in the gaming industry in a series of disputes with partners regarding equity and dividends. Through strategic litigation, we successfully clarified key legal facts, including the legitimacy of the client’s shareholder status and the counterparty’s tortious intent, securing an ideal outcome for the client.

Represented a NASDAQ-listed company in an arbitration at the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (SHIAC) regarding a Directors and Officers (D&O) liability insurance dispute. Despite a lack of domestic precedents, we successfully persuaded the tribunal to support our claims, achieving full recovery of the insurance indemnity.

Represented an accounting firm in three derivative tort indemnity disputes initiated by a large state-owned financial enterprise following litigation by overseas investors. With the total amount in controversy exceeding RMB 400 million, all three cases have yielded successful results, whether in terms of interim or final outcomes.
